Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in East Norriton has been recognized with four 2020 Women’s Choice Awards as one of America’s Best Hospitals for heart care, orthopedics, breast care, and bariatric surgery, writes Gary Puleo for The Times Herald.

The technologically-advanced, 191-bed tertiary care medical center is part of Einstein Healthcare Network.

The awards symbolized by a coin-based image are based on a review of close to 5,000 hospitals. They represent an elite choice for women selected by women.

The methodology used for America’s Best Hospitals combines survey results from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems with primary research about women’s healthcare preferences.

It is also the only award that uses criteria that factors-in patient satisfaction and clinical excellence to determine excellence in patient services, according to Einstein Healthcare Network communications manager Judy Horwitz.

“Earning recognition as one of America’s Best Hospitals in medical areas that affect so many women is gratifying since we continually strive to offer the highest quality of care to women and their families,” said Beth Duffy, President and Chief Operating Officer for Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.
