Steel River Playhouse in Pottstown is bringing to life the Christmas classic, “A Christmas Story,” this holiday season.
Young and old alike can stroll down memory lane with Ralphie Parker as Steel River presents Humorist Jean Shepherd’s classic memoir of growing up in 1940s American Midwest on the local stage from December 6 to December 22.
The story follows 9-year-old Parker as he navigates the perils and pitfalls of childhood. These include obsessing over getting a Red Ryder BB gun, dealing with the school bully, and surviving the insanity of the holidays with his unpredictable family.
