Fabletics, cofounded by Kate Hudson, opens at King of Prussia Mall
Fabletics, the originally online-only athletic clothing brand co-founded by actress Kate Hudson, is the latest newcomer to King of Prussia Mall, writes Ellie Silverman for inquirer.com.
The store which opened on July 4, is on the lower level of the plaza. There will be a grand opening on July 20.
The new store is one of a dozen stores the company is planning to open this year for its brick-and-mortar expansion.
“I’m excited to continue to expand our retail footprint and bring our new store concept to the King of Prussia Mall,” said Hudson.
Among its novel features, the fitting rooms in the King of Prussia store will have iPads that can be linked to each customer’s online account or to a guest account for those without one.
Clothes being tried in the fitting room can also be scanned and the data loaded onto the iPad. If any item is the wrong size, the customer can log that or get a different size brought to them by tapping a button to get help from an associate.
This technology aims to “elevate the Fabletics shopping experience,” said the company.
