Variety staff participated in a workshop on teamwork with Philadelphia Eagles executives at Variety – the Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley in Worcester

Executives from the Philadelphia Eagles were on site at Variety – the Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley this past Wednesday, June 12th to hold an educational workshop for staff members in advance of Variety’s first day of camp. F

rank Gumienny, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Norman Vossschulte, Director of Fan Experience, discussed the importance of teamwork with nearly 40 members of the Variety staff. The workshop was part of Variety’s seasonal staff orientation, which took place this week, in preparation for the 8-week long summer camp season set to begin on Monday, June 24.

Variety’s mission is to enrich the lives of children and young adults with disabilities through social, educational and vocational programs that nurture independence and self-confidence, and prepare them for life. Each year, hundreds of families eagerly await coming “home” to Variety for a summer full of rich relationships and engaging activities. Variety summer camps include day camp, overnight camp, extended school year (ESY) and vocational camp.

Variety is also a proud Eagles Care partner and during the 2018-2019 season was one of three local non-profits chosen to partner with the Eagles in order to strengthen the team’s positive impact on the community and to increase the organization’s impact on the people they support.
