How many millionaires are there in your county?

And no, we do not have a list of names of the millionaires themselves.

The number of Pennsylvanians earning at least $1 million has grown by 7,765, or 80 percent, since the Great Recession receded in 2009, said Mark Price, a labor economist with Keystone Research Center in Harrisburg.

The number of millionaires in Pennsylvania jumped 30 percent, from 13,412 to 17,484, between 2013 and 2017, according to the revenue department data. And most people reading this will not be surprised that the largest concentration of millionaires is in the Philadelphia region, with Chester County ranking second in the number of millionaires in the state, followed by Allegheny County.
