Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter, a merit construction industry trade association located in East Norriton, announced that several of its members were recipients of awards at the ABC National Convention in Long Beach, Calif. last week.

Chapter. “Their awards demonstrate their dedication to excellence, not just in the projects they build, but in the employees they train and their commitment to diversity. National Excellence in Construction Award Winners:
The Excellence in Construction awards program is the industry’s leading competition that honors both general and specialty contractors for innovative and high-quality merit shop construction projects. ABC Eastern Pa. Chapter member winners include:
· Eagle Award – Benchmark Construction Co. for WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital Cardio Overbuild project
· Eagle Award – Benchmark Construction Co. for Carole and Ray Neag Medical Center project
· Eagle Award – C. Raymond Davis & Sons for a private residence project
· Pyramid Award – Warfel Construction Co. for Aerzen USA Expansion project
· Pyramid Award – Ondra-Huyett Associates Inc. for a private residence project
National Craft Championships:
At the National Craft Championship, craft trainees and apprentices from across the country compete for top honors in their chosen craft. Winners from ABC Eastern Pa. Chapter member companies include:
· Residential Commercial Carpentry: Safety Award: Levi Homan, Klover Contracting
· Residential Commercial Carpentry: Gold Award: Levi Homan, Klover Contracting
· Powerline Worker: Gold Award: Wayne Worthington, The Tri-M Group LLC
National Diversity Excellence Award Winner:
This award recognizes members that display exemplary diversity leadership in their workplace, supply chain and community with best-in-class recruitment policies, retention practices and training and mentoring programs. ABC Eastern Pa. Chapter member winner was:
· General Contractor Under $33 million category: Wu & Associates
Chapter Membership Awards
