Cook

This position prepares a wide variety of menu items according to prescribed recipes; cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment; maintains standards of quality, cost, presentation, and flavor of foods; and completes additional tasks as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of work experience as a cook; Serve Safe training; and the ability to maintain a sanitary environment and comply with safety standards.

Waiter/Server

This position takes residents’ meal orders and serves them their meals; delivers trays to rooms of ill residents; sets tables with napkins and tableware and refills condiments; sets up and keeps the salad and dessert counters supplied; and cleans the dining room.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent; strong communication and listening skills; similar work experience; and the ability to work in a team environment and work flexible shifts.

Part-Time Driver

This position drives the company vehicle to resident activities and assists residents in and out of the vehicle; inspects the company vehicle before and after trips; and performs light office work, including answering inquiries to set up resident travel.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and five years of related experience; strong customer service skills; and experience working with seniors.

Certified Med Tech

This position oversees the functions of the community business office and performs office support duties for the executive director; maximizes cash flow through efficient billing and collection processes; and oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, resident funds, and cash receipts.

The ideal candidate will possess one to three years of bookkeeping and administrative experience; working knowledge of financial statements and automated financial software; and knowledge of accounting procedures to maintain petty cash, resident fund, payroll, and receivables.

Dietary Aide

This position prepares and/or pre-portions food for regular and therapeutic diets according to planned menu and production sheets; ensures that food is served in an attractive, appetizing manner; and maintains the proper temperature of food during preparation and service.

The ideal candidate will possess basic math skills; effective communication skills; and good independent decision-making skills.
