Valentine’s Day Brunch at Elmwood Park Zoo

Love is in the air— Share a romantic Valentine’s Brunch with your significant other in our Canopy Gardens Hall, complete with an animal meet and greet!

Guests who would prefer some quality alone time to enjoy their brunch can send their children (ages 4+) to our fun and educational animal workshop.

There are three brunch sessions each day: 10:00 AM, 11:15 AM, and 12:30 PM. Space is limited for this event, so please register early and arrive on time.

Your ticket includes brunch, admission to the zoo, and an animal greet.

Farm Animal Friends at Rose Bridge Farm

Spend a fun evening at the farm loving on the rescued baby goats, bunnies, and piglets with your special someone!

After spending time with the animals, you head on up to the studio to make organic soy candles, bath salts, and scrubs out of dried flowers and essential oils, as well as planting succulents to take back home.

The event is on Valentine’s Day only and runs from 6:30 – 8:00 PM, and is for adults only.

Romance on the Rails at Colebrookdale Railroad

Enjoy a romantic dinner this Valentine’s Day aboard a 1920’s era train as you enjoy a peaceful ride through the Secret Valley.

If you aren’t interested in dining options but just looking for a ride, you can grab first-class accommodations in the Parlor Car which includes complimentary beverages and a dessert.

Fares range depending upon which car you choose, as well as whether you are an adult, child, senior, or toddler passenger. All ticketed passengers will receive complimentary chocolates and flowers for Valentine’s Day.

Departures begin on Saturday and run through Monday, with the departure time being 6:00 PM.

Succulents & Sweets at Floral & Hardy and Blossom Café

Craft your own succulent container at this cute DIY succulent bar with various Valentine’s Day-themed toppings! It’s the perfect gift for that special someone.

While you’re there, enjoy the various treats from the Blossom Café including specialty tea and coffee as well as freshly baked goods.

The event runs from Friday through Sunday and people are welcome to stop by anytime from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Valentine Love Shack at Blossom Café

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your friends, family, or partner at the Blossom Café where you can snap a heartfelt photo together at the Love Shack.

If you’re feeling thirsty, you can build your own latte or enjoy various hot chocolate specials like Nutella or salted caramel. Chow down on quiche, ricotta toast, and flowerpot muffins.

The free event will continue to run until February 13 and is available from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Learn how to throw an axe from trained Axe Masters before playing multiple 1 on 1 games against others in your party.

Try to Escape at Amazing Escape Room

Give your brain a workout this Valentine’s weekend by trying out an escape room with your favorite friend or loved one!

There are three different special escape rooms available to choose from: The Illusionist, The Pirate Ship, and The Submarine Ship. You have 60 minutes to escape from each.

The Amazing Escape Room is open from Wednesday to Sunday. For special weekday events (Monday through Tuesday), they should be contacted directly.
