The Help a Single Parent Foundation is continuing its annual tradition of making the season brighter for families in the greater Norristown area struggling to raise children in single-parent households by supplying food, toys, and other amenities to ensure an unforgettable Christmas holiday.

This family-focused effort — now in its 11th year — is made possible through the support and sponsorship of Bourbon Blue Restaurant and Bar, In His Eyes Outreach — Carla Clanagan, and Gary Simpson of the Norristown Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi.

To nominate a family, submit a letter describing why that particular family should be chosen.

The letter also needs to identify the parent by name, how many children he or she has, where they live (complete address), and a contact number.

Representatives from Help a Single Parent Foundation will meet with the nominees before deciding on the winners.

Last year was HASP’s best year yet and the foundation is looking forward to an even bigger and better 2018.
