John James Audubon achieved lasting fame with his three-volume Birds of North America. In September, the town that bears his name will become known for another high flier — the Bald Birds brewery and taproom, which will hold its grand opening Sept. 15.

The party will begin at 12:00 noon and soar until midnight, according to a post at breweriesinpa. com.

The public is invited to join Bald Birds for a day of beer, food, and fun for the entire family. There will be  a variety of beer styles and flavors alongside a  selection of fare from local food trucks. There will also be live music throughout the afternoon and evening.

Bald  Birds Brewing Co. is located at  970 Rittenhouse Road, Suite 400.
