The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board is hitting the road again this Summer to build awareness for the wide range of things to do in Montgomery County, PA.
In addition to the ongoing out of market advertising campaigns aimed to attract more visitors to the county, the tourism board will have a strong presence on location at several festivals and events this Summer.
“We have an exciting Summer tour planned that will feature our mobile kiosk, branded Mini Cooper, and our popular Monty the Fox mascot. The tour is primarily focused across our backyard towns in Montco, but we’re also extending our reach to places like Trenton, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia to connect with new audiences on the ground,” said Edward Harris, Chief Marketing Officer at the Valley Forge Tourism& Convention Board. Last week the tourism board was at the Trenton Thunder vs. Reading Fightin Phils minor league baseball game to engage with fans, hand out information about things to do in Montco, and throw out the first pitch.
When you see the Tourism Board at an event this Summer, you can expect to not only pick up information on upcoming Montco events and things to do, but also occasionally get the opportunity to enter to win prizes and tickets to events like the exciting Cirque du Soleil “Volta” show coming to Montco this Summer. Information that will be handed out on tour will include the board’s annual visitor’s guide, the Summer edition of Crave Montco dining magazine, the quarterly Montco Explorer Newspaper, the Arts Montco guide, and the annual Montco Golf guide.
