Topgolf Swing Suite is expanding to the tri-state region for the first time with a location – set to be its largest in the world – coming to the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City.

Scheduled to reopen as the revamped Ocean Resort this summer, the former Revel casino will boast a 26,000 square feet Topgolf Swing Suite, which will include 11 bays to drive the ball, as well as interactive multi-sport games and “a first-of-its-kind virtual putting green,” according to a Monday announcement. Each bay can accommodate up to eight people, writes Alison Burdo in the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Topgolf’s president, Ron Powers, described the future Atlantic City site as “unlike anything the entertainment industry has seen before.” This location is one of six slated to open in the near future, according to the Topgolf website.

The immersive golf experience is one of the many upgrades coming to the vacant boardwalk property. Since announcing its purchase, AC Ocean Walk has said it will complete the build out of the resort’s hotel, upping the number of available rooms from around 900 to nearly 1,4000. The owners previously announced the hotel would be a luxury Hyatt.

“No detail was overlooked in the development of Ocean Resort Casino,” Bruce Deifik, chairman of AC Ocean Walk, which owns Ocean Resort Casino, said in a statement. “We’re aligning with companies and brands that are the best at what they do to optimize the overall guest experience, and Topgolf is one of the best in terms of delivering cutting-edge entertainment and memorable social experiences that capture the spirit of competition and fun.”
