Lansdale’s Boardroom Spirits distillery is focusing on local partnerships by making connections within the community to supply its needs, writes Victoria Alfred-Levow for Main Line Today.
Most of the grains, vegetables, and fruits used by the distillery in its famous vegetable spirits are provided and processed by local farmers.
To avoid waste, Boardroom partners with a local farmer who uses the byproducts of the distillation process as feed for his livestock.
Also, to keep in tune with the local community, Boardroom holds the ‘Friends of Boardroom’ event every Thursday. This showcases the products of nearby breweries, wineries, and cider makers.
