VFTCB Expands Staff, Adds Associate Director of Sales and Director of Arts

Jessica Willingham and Scott Higgins

The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board has added two new positions to its organization, with the unified goal of increasing tourism throughout Montgomery County.

Scott Higgins is the new Associate Director of Sales, and Jessica Willingham is Director of Arts and Culture.

Higgins is a 10-year veteran of the local hospitality industry, having spent nearly six years representing different hotel brands across the area.

Most recently, he was sales manager at the Hyatt House Philadelphia – King of Prussia, where he supported the corporate and leisure markets. Within the VFTCB, his efforts will center on the corporate-convention line of business.

A current Royersford resident, Higgins graduated from East Stroudsburg University. He has recently joined the Philadelphia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the largest meeting and event industry association worldwide.

He is also co-founder of East Stroudsburg University Alumni Philadelphia.

Willingham comes to the VFTCB from the Montgomery County Commissioners Office, where she served as Press Secretary. For the past five years, she has been the liaison between elected officials, the press, and the public.

She brings a depth of knowledge about the county and a passion for promoting its wealth of assets, centering on the performing and visual arts.

Willingham attended Brandeis University and currently serves on its Alumni Association Board of Directors.
