OFF-5TH-Logo-HiResKing of Prussia shoppers who enjoy luxury items but can be deterred by their high prices are in luck, as the newest tenant of Overlook at King of Prussia shopping center is the luxury off-price retailer Saks OFF 5TH, writes Suzette Parmley for Philly.com.

The store at Overlook at King of Prussia is taking over the space that was previously occupied by Nordstrom Rack, before it moved last summer to the newly constructed King of Prussia Town Center.

Saks OFF 5TH, which is the off-price retail division of Saks Fifth Avenue, will be offering designer brands products with attractive discounts of up to 70 percent. Saks and its parent company are a part of Hudson’s Bay Company’s portfolio of upscale brands includes Lord & Taylor.

The Canadian retailer has been expanding in the area, including opening a Saks OFF 5TH store at the Metroplex shopping center in Plymouth Meeting last May.

“We’re excited to continue to grow in the Philadelphia market,” said Jonathan Greller, President of Saks OFF 5TH. “We’ve secured a great location.”

The new 42,000-square-feet Saks OFF 5TH store is expected to open on April 6.
