Well reputed East Norriton-based Bluefin Sushi opened a second location in Bala Cynwyd on December 12th called B2.  B2 is an 8,000 square foot sushi bar and restaurant located in the former CHOPS space at 401 East City Avenue.

Unlike its sister restaurant in East Norriton, B2 has a full bar offering wine, beer, cocktails and sake as well as a weekday Happy Hour from 4-6pm.  In total, this sleek new space has seating for almost 200 between the bar, lounge, sushi bar, and main dining area.

Not only does B2 bring all of your favorite rolls and distinctive dishes from Bluefin like wasabi shumai and spicy tuna sundae to the Main Line, B2 enhances your dining experience through new and exciting Asian specialty dishes.

Menu additions include a Bala Roll, Boathouse Roll, and Main Line Roll in conjunction with robust platters like the Bluefin Platter which combines sashimi, appetizers, and a collection of signature rolls.

“Our goal is to be the best sushi restaurant in the city,” says Bluefin and B2 owner Yong Kim.  “We realize that we’re several miles outside of the city, but that doesn’t affect our concept or our striving for excellence.”

B2 offers online ordering for takeout as well as online reservations for both the dining room and sushi bar through Reserve.com.

B2 is open Monday – Saturday through the end of the year but will add Sunday dinner service in 2017.
