Conshohocken’s Firstrust Bank is gearing up for its fifth Business First Awards which honors local businesses that have a positive impact in the community.

Started in 2012, the Business First Awards celebrate companies with exemplary business ideals, and has already awarded over $150,000 to local businesses and charities.
The BFA differs from other awards as it gives the public an opportunity to nominate and vote on companies with a strong connection to the community.

This year, the winner of the grand prize will receive $20,000 to split with the charity of their choice. The three runners up will receive $5,000 to also share with their chosen charity.

“Our Business First Awards have been designed to recognize businesses with exemplary performance which have served as agents of change and growth in our community,” said Firstrust’s Chairman and CEO, Richard J. Green. “There are a lot of businesses who earn the trust of their communities every day and we look forward to shining a spotlight on their great efforts.”
