The U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard has ranked the nation’s colleges and universities by the median salary earned by alumni – who received financial aid – 10 years after they first began taking classes at the school.

Here’s how Montgomery County’s schools stack up:

  • Bryn Mawr College – $53,600
  • Ursinus College – $52,100
  • Gwynedd Mercy University – $51,600
  • Strayer University (Trevose) – $49,200
  • Rosemont College – $47,800
  • Penn State Abington – $47,700
  • Arcadia University – $42,900
  • Manor College – $38,500
  • Montgomery County Community College – $35,800
  • Harcum College – $32,400
  • Antonelli Institute (Erdenheim) – $27,000

The national average is approximately $34,600.

All of Penn State’s campuses – main and branches – were lumped together in the study.

No data was available for Bryn Athyn College and DeVry University in Fort Washington.
