Ambler’s Facilities Control Technology Urges Business Owners to Take Extensive Security Measures This Summer

Ambler’s Facilities Control Technology, the maker of the venerated PatrolScan, is urging business owners to take pervasive security measures this upcoming summer season.

According to the company’s CEO, Allyn Huntzinger, burglaries in the United States peak during the summer months.

“While your security team might be great, you can’t just assume they’re doing everything they can to protect your building,” Huntzinger said.

PatrolScan is a security-guard patrol system that allows security team members to check in at various points while they conduct their rounds of the buildings they are hired to protect. Facilities Control Technology has been providing its reliable software to businesses worldwide for more than 13 years.

Huntzinger just released a write-up on his company’s website that details the importance of tight security when the weather warms up.

He reminded business owners that the peak of burglaries for the year also falls during the same time as when company heads tend to take their extended vacations.

“It can be easy for your security team to see your absence due to vacation as an opportunity to slack off a bit, but such behavior can be especially detrimental during the summer,” said Huntzinger.
