Forget eating lunch at your desk.

This month, King of Prussia District is inviting workers, residents, and visitors to relive the best parts of summer camp with Camp KOP, a free lunchtime series at the newly opened Recharge Park featuring archery, axe-throwing, lawn games, food trucks, happy hours, and a corporate field day competition.

Held from 11 AM-1 PM on June 10 and 17, Camp KOP invites participants to step away from their desks and enjoy nostalgic camp favorites in the heart of King of Prussia. Attendees can test their skills in archery and axe-throwing with Bury the Hatchet, create friendship bracelets with Little Words Project, play lawn games, and connect with colleagues and neighbors in a playful outdoor setting.

“Campers” will also receive a complimentary sweet treat each week and can purchase lunch on-site from food trucks.

The camp experience continues after work with two themed happy hours. On June 10 from 4-6 PM, attendees will put their luck to the test during Happy Hour Bingo at Valley Beach at Valley Forge Casino Resort. On June 17 from 4-6 PM, campers will gather at City Works in King of Prussia Town Center for Happy Hour Trivia, where teams compete for prizes and bragging rights.

The series culminates on June 24 with Corporate Field Day, where 20 teams from King of Prussia businesses will face off in a spirited competition, featuring field day favorites like tug of war, relay races, and other team challenges. Teams compete for bragging rights, prizes, and medals while building camaraderie and showcasing their workplace spirit.

“Camp KOP is all about bringing people together and creating memorable experiences in King of Prussia’s newest community gathering space,” said Rachel Ammon, King of Prussia District’s Director of Marketing and Communications. “Recharge Park was designed to give employees, residents, and visitors a place to connect, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors, and Camp KOP is a fun, engaging way to showcase everything the park has to offer.”

Camp KOP is free to attend, though registration is encouraged for Happy Hours. Participants who attend multiple events can earn opportunities to win prizes throughout the series.

Camp KOP is produced by King of Prussia District and presented by Key Bank with additional support from sponsors AT&T, Associa Mid-Atlantic, Valley Forge Casino Resort, and Conlin’s Print.
