Phoenixville Resident Goes Into Months-Long Isolation to Compete in Upcoming Game Show

Phoenixville resident Nancy Hornback went through a 90-day isolation period to compete on ‘Greg Gutfeld’s What Did I Miss?’, a new game show.

Phoenixville resident Nancy Hornback recently underwent a unique preparation process for an upcoming game show appearance, writes Justin Heinze for Patch.

As part of an upcoming Fox Nation game show, Hornback lived in total isolation in upstate New York for three months alongside four other strangers. All five contestants lived without their phones, internet, social media, and any news outlets.

The show, titled Greg Gutfield’s What Did I Miss?, will see contestants guess which news headlines from their time in isolation are real and which are fake.

Fox Nation’s pitch for the show reads, “Greg Gutfeld’s new game show puts four contestants—fresh from 90 days of isolation—to the test: can they spot real news from fake? With surprise guests and wild twists, only one leaves a winner.”

The show will cover news from Dec. 8 through Feb. 14, a time frame that saw an escalation in ICE protests, the release of some of the Epstein files, and increasing tensions preceding the Iran war.

Other contestants for the show hailed from Florida, Texas, and northern Pennsylvania. The winner of the show will receive $50,000.

In a social media post shared before being sequestered, Nancy Hornback spoke about the extent of the isolation period. Hornback said, “I don’t even get to talk to my daughter, or my husband, or the rest of my family, my friends, or my puppy dog.”

The three-episode series will air on April 27, May 4, and May 11.
