With the Philadelphia Phillies set to kick off the new MLB season this week, fans will be in store for a variety of new food options at Citizens Bank Park, according to a 6abc Digital Staff report.
First up is The Sweeper, a ribeye steak smothered in pizza sauce and topped with pepperoni and provolone cheese.
Next is the Sánchez Sliders, two honey chicken tenders tossed in a house-made hot spice blend on potato rolls with Grillo’s Pickles, garlic aioli, and Mike’s Hot Honey.
There’s also the 1883 Burger Co. Smash Burger, featuring two Pat LaFrieda patties with yellow American cheese, Grillo’s Pickles, and sweet heat sauce served on a potato roll from Liscio’s Bakery.
A new foot-long Hot Dog is now also available.
Meanwhile, the new Bull’s BBQ Sampler Platter. You get generous portions of Bull’s signature pulled pork, smoked turkey, and burnt ends coupled with baked beans, creamy coleslaw, and two slices of white bread.
Aramark is adding new dessert options, as well.
There’s the new shareable Schwarbomb Sundae, with Richman’s soft-serve with a funnel-cake-fried strawberry Uncrustable, fresh strawberry sauce, and fruity cereal pieces on top.
The immensely popular Wilt’s Chocolate Smothered Berries is also coming to Citizens Bank Park.
Proceeds for many of the sales will go to charity.
