Chase to Open Philadelphia-Area Branches as Part of Expansion, Including Three in Chester County

As part of its expansion, Chase Bank will open 14 new branches in the region this year, including three planned for Chester County.

As part of its nationwide expansion strategy, Chase Bank will open 14 new branches in Greater Philadelphia this year, including three that are planned for Chester County, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal

The company will add a total of 160 locations in 30 states and renovate around 600 existing sites. According to parent company JPMorgan Chase, the initiative is part of a multibillion-dollar investment to “expand access to affordable and convenient financial services nationwide.”

The bank’s move will also continue its multiyear expansion strategy that was announced in February 2024, which aims to open more than 500 new branches and add over 3,500 employees nationwide within three years.

The plan seeks to grow the Philadelphia region’s branch count to 100 by 2027, up from 58 at the time, while adding 300 new jobs with minimum pay ranging from $20 to $25 an hour, depending on location.

The three new Chester County branches will open at 808 E. Baltimore Pike in Kennett Square, 293 Schuylkill Road in Phoenixville, and Nova Way and Octorara Trail in Parkesburg
