Championship Titles in One Year Give Ss. Colman-John Neumann School Reason to Celebrate

Ss. Colman-John Neumann School in Bryn Mawr has four of its teams winning championships and one finishing the season undefeated.

Ss. Colman-John Neumann School in Bryn Mawr has much to celebrate, with four of its teams winning championships and one finishing the season undefeated, reports Bob Kelly for FOX 29 Philadelphia.

The school enrolls approximately 390 students, ranging from pre-K to eighth grade.

“It’s a very exciting place,” said Principal Kelly Ciminera. “We have lots of things going on for kids of all ages. Super exciting things always happening, always having fun.”

All four of the school’s basketball teams, including varsity boys, varsity girls, JV boys, and JV girls, who remained undefeated during their regional season, won Region 32 Championships, setting a new standard in the school’s history.

“We swept the region,” said Ciminera. “Very exciting.”

The school was also featured on the ClassH-Room on FOX 29 on Wednesday, pitting students against teachers in a fun and educational competition.

“It was so much fun,” said one of the teachers who represented the school in the program. “It was such a great experience.”
