Montgomery County is poised for a culinary renaissance with the opening of several new restaurants this year, writes Anne E. Hill for Main Line Today.
From Fort Washington to Bryn Mawr and King of Prussia, a wave of new concepts will reshape the dining landscape.
In Fort Washington, Academy Grill will replace the former Cantina Feliz with Italian-inspired fare.
Meanwhile, Bridgeport will welcome Cecilia. The new upscale American restaurant comes from the teams behind the Blue Bell Inn and Copper Crow.
Bryn Mawr continues its food-forward momentum with multiple additions. These include Dim Sum Factory, gluten-free favorite Flakely, and a newly opened Love & Honey Fried Chicken, bringing its popular buttermilk-fried chicken to the Main Line.
There are two coming to Narberth. Indian BYOB Lassan and Middle Eastern newcomer Malooga will add global flavors to the borough’s compact dining scene.
King of Prussia’s lineup includes Lazy Dog’s casual, dog-friendly dining and a highly anticipated Charles Barkley–backed steakhouse planned for Valley Forge Casino Resort.
Meanwhile, Ardmore remains a hotspot with openings ranging from smash-burger concept Bikini Burger to viral bagel phenom PopUp Bagels.
With opening dates scattered over the next couple of months, Montco diners will have plenty of new tables to try in the year ahead.
