Fortune named Fort Washington–based Toll Brothers the No. 1 Most Admired Home Builder on its 2026 list of the World’s Most Admired Companies, the company announced in a press release.
The recognition marks the ninth time Toll Brothers has earned the top spot in its category, reinforcing the builder’s long-standing reputation for quality, leadership, and innovation. Fortune produced the ranking in partnership with Korn Ferry, which surveyed executives, board directors and Wall Street analysts from 685 of the world’s highest-revenue companies across 51 industries and 29 countries.
Korn Ferry evaluated companies on nine criteria, including investment value, quality of management and products, social responsibility, and ability to attract talent. Toll Brothers consistently scored at the top of the homebuilding industry in these areas.
Chairman and CEO Douglas C. Yearley Jr. credited the company’s nearly 60-year legacy and its employees for the continued recognition, pointing to a culture focused on craftsmanship, customer experience, and long-term value.
For Montgomery County, the honor underscores the global reach of a company headquartered in Fort Washington that continues to shape luxury residential development nationwide.
