Endless Consulting, a Philadelphia-based firm has been chosen to lead food and beverage concessions for Philadelphia’s FIFA World Cup Fan Festival this summer, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
While the firm typically manages hospitality for large events that last up to a week, Endless Consulting will be entrusted to run operations for the upcoming festival that will last about six weeks.
It will be tasked to select the dozens of food trucks that will quench the hunger and thirst of the countless World Cup fans that will be traveling to Lemon Hill throughout June and July.
“It scares the living daylights out of me. There’s nothing like this event,” said co-owner Daniel Pennachietti.
While the ordeal will bring a lot of pressure to he and his business partner and Endless Consulting founder Christopher Lodge, the duo is far from green when it comes to working big events.
Pennachietti previously worked as a consultant for Aramark, which provided food and beverages for attendees of the Papal visit in 2015 and the Democratic National Convention the following year.
Meanwhile, the two managed activations for Formula 1’s U.S. Grand Prix in 2023 and 2024.
The FIFA Fan Festival is expected to host 1.5 million people total over the six weeks.
