The Bookhouse at Faunbrook offers literary-inspired lodging perfect for any Chester County book lover, writes Lauren Gordon for TravelHost.

The West Chester hotel, an extension of The Bookhouse Hotel in Kennett Square, boasts seven luxurious rooms inspired by iconic authors and literary figures. The charming interiors are complete with an extensive collection of books to make for the perfect cozy stay.

As for the individual suites, Jane’s Room features Jane Austen-inspired décor and velvet bed drapes. The Alice In Wonderland-themed room, Alice’s Suite, features a writer’s desk, fireplace, and pull-out couch.

Suites range from $170 to $195 per night depending on seasonal availability.

But The Bookhouse at Faunbrook’s magic doesn’t end with the individual rooms. The hotel’s lounge boasts another vast library and cozy reading spaces where guests can commune with fellow bookworms.

The hotel also features a wide collection of games perfect for a family game night. Additional amenities include a spacious courtyard and secret rooms throughout.

The Bookhouse at Faunbrook also offers a quarterly book club, where participants can have a selected book shipped to them with other literary gifts and trinkets. Book club members can access Zoom author Q&A’s and receive discounted tickets to the hotel’s annual Book Ball, a festive gathering for book lovers near and far.
