The Montgomery County Commerce Department, MontcoWorks, and PA CareerLink Montgomery County are coordinating efforts to assist federal employees who have been furloughed or are working without pay, as well as individuals whose jobs may be affected through federally funded programs or contracts.
Resources Available to Impacted Workers
Federal workers and others experiencing employment instability are encouraged to connect with PA CareerLink Montgomery County for reemployment services, career counseling, and job search assistance. The team is ready to help residents navigate this transition with personalized support and workforce guidance.
In addition, MontcoWorks is highlighting its Comprehensive Resource Guide, a centralized directory connecting residents to essential supports across the county. The guide includes information on food assistance, childcare, housing, mental health resources, and more — all designed to help those facing financial strain or disruption of any kind.
