The King of Prussia Mall is heading into the holidays with major momentum, writes Erin McCarthy for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Following the debut of the world’s first Netflix House earlier this month, the mall has now welcomed Sloomoo MiniMoo. The 3,000-square-foot sensory slime experience lets guests design their own slime with custom textures, colors, scents, and charms. The space also offers hands-on slime zones and a retail shop, with its grand opening celebration set for Saturday.
Sloomoo joins several headline-grabbing additions that have opened since August. Eataly has transformed the Plaza’s lower level into an Italian marketplace and restaurant. Gatcha, a Japanese-inspired arcade, and KPOT, the all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and hot pot spot, have added new reasons to stick around after shopping. Edikted, the online-fueled women’s fashion brand, also opened its first regional storefront.
The excitement continues into December, when four first-to-market brands arrive: Princess Polly, Mavi Jeans, Sukoshi, and Rivian’s experiential EV showroom. Toys “R” Us is also expected to open soon, further boosting the family draw.
With viral-ready experiences, national debuts, and peak seasonal foot traffic, King of Prussia Mall is shaping up to be the region’s ultimate holiday destination.
