Valley Forge Casino Resort is upping its game with help from basketball legend Charles Barkley.
The Boyd Gaming–owned property in King of Prussia announced a new partnership with Barkley. The Casino and Barkley will launch an upscale steakhouse and cigar lounge designed to reflect the former Sixer’s bold personality and love for the region.
“The Philadelphia area has always felt like home to me,” Barkley said. “We’re creating a spot that’s fun, comfortable, and full of personality. I want it to be the kind of place where people can unwind, share a great meal and feel that same energy and connection that make this community so special.”
The yet-to-be-named restaurant will feature contemporary design with nods to Barkley’s NBA career, including personal memorabilia and custom décor. Next door, The Humidor cigar lounge will offer a club-like setting with a walk-in humidor, private lockers, and a full bar.
Barkley will help shape the menu and vision while showcasing spirits from his Redmont Distilling Co. brand. Boyd Gaming also pledged annual donations to The Charles Barkley Foundation, which supports education and historically Black colleges and universities.
The project marks the next phase in Valley Forge Casino Resort’s multi-year transformation, bringing new dining, entertainment, and guest experiences to Montgomery County.
