Holy Family University has officially launched its comprehensive campaign, ”Bold Vision: Empowering Futures. Transforming Lives.” To date, it has raised more than $20.2 million in direct support of Holy Family students, with a goal of $25 million.

“Holy Family University is driving transformational change,” said Holy Family President Dr. Anne Prisco. “Built upon the foundation laid by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, we continue to honor our historic mission: delivering an affordable, values-based, high-quality education that prepares students not just for careers, but for lives of purpose and meaning.”

The Bold Vision campaign will drive forward strategic priorities such as significantly expanding student scholarships, launching market-driven academic programs, strengthening Holy Family’s role as an anchor institution in Northeast Philadelphia, and expanding the university’s presence in Bucks County. Jim Bennett, Class of 1982, and Linda Raichle, Class of 1970, will serve as co-chairs of the campaign.

To mark the public debut of Bold Vision, Holy Family broke ground on a 10,000-square-foot expansion of Holy Family Hall. Over the next year, the university’s iconic, original building will be reimagined as the heart of the modern campus, featuring community gathering spaces, a state-of-the-art conference center, and a student-services hub. The expansion was made possible with support from Pennsylvania’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program.

“Holy Family University is a Northeast institution, and this was an opportunity to work in partnership with the university and the business community to build something transformational,” said Philadelphia Councilmember Mike Driscoll.

“The transformation of Frankford and Grant avenues has been a priority for Holy Family University,” said State Rep. Pat Gallagher. “We’re seeing such great public, private, and community partnerships helping Holy Family grow and invest in its students.”

“This project is going to fundamentally change the landscape of what I like to call Center City Torresdale,” said State Sen. Joe Picozzi. “What the university is doing here is going to make the Great Northeast even greater.”

As part of the campaign launch, the university also dedicated the new Metz Family Fieldhouse. The facility will serve the university’s growing athletics program, with locker rooms for home and visiting teams, public restrooms for fans, and game-day concession stands. The fieldhouse is a dramatic upgrade to the university’s athletic facilities and will enhance the campus experience of student-athletes and fans alike.

“Metz Culinary Management is proud to be a partner with Holy Family University and support its mission to help every student succeed,” said Maureen Metz, Executive Vice President of Metz Culinary Management. “We are thankful to get this chance to invest in this campus and this community.”

The Holy Family Hall expansion, the Metz Family Fieldhouse and every initiative within the Bold Vision campaign are designed to enhance student experiences and outcomes, said Prisco.

“Holy Family is boldly moving forward, empowering students, inspiring community, and transforming futures,” she said.
