The first day of Buckman’s tent sale in King of Prussia saw shoppers lining up to obtain gently used – or occasionally brand-new – winter clothing and gear, reports Jennaphr Frederick for FOX 29 Philadelphia.

Skiing “is not a cheap sport,” said Susan Mutter, Soft Goods Buyer at Buckman’s Premier Ski & Snowboard Shop. “And so, especially with a growing family of children who grow out of their gear every year, people are coming to us for used clothing and used gear.”

The items that are on offer include everything from an $18 jacket to kids’ Völkl skis priced at $50. This provides huge savings to customers, and spanning pieces that are brand-new with tags to those that can be five or more years old.

The tent sale will last through Saturday, October 18, and, besides King of Prussia, is also taking place in Montgomeryville, Whitehall, Exton, and Reading. All tent locations open to the public at 10 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.

Buckman’s Premier Ski & Snowboard Shop is a family-owned business serving the community since 1971.
