Haverford’s Jeff Yass, cofounder of Bala Cynwyd’s Susquehanna International Group, is again the region’s wealthiest. His $65.7 billion fortune puts him at Number 19 nationally. His net worth rose $16 billion since last year, thanks to his firm’s stake in TikTok parent company, ByteDance.
SIG co-founder and Gladwyne resident Arthur Dantchik climbed 11 spots since last year to Number 62 with $16.3 billion.
Lafayette Hill native Michael Rubin dropped out of the top 100 to Number 129. Forbes estimates the Fanatics CEO’s wealth at $9.6 billion.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles owner, Jeffrey Lurie, made the biggest jump. The Wynnewood resident now ranks at Number 191 with $7.6 billion.
Conshohocken-based Morgan Properties also kept its place among the elites. Founder Mitchell Morgan ranks Number 244 with $6.1 billion. Aside from operating one of the largest private apartment empires, Morgan also joined the Phillies’ ownership group last fall.
The Montco billionaires underscore the area’s outsized impact on finance, real estate, sports, and retail.
