Women-owned and operated, SHIFT in Narberth offers refills, secondhand finds, and sustainable alternatives to everyday products, helping to support low-waste living on the Main Line, writes Anne E. Hill for the Main Line Today.
Eleisha Eagle, the co-founder of SHIFT, was recently named a 2025 Tory Burch Foundation Fellow, joining a select group of 50 female entrepreneurs being recognized for their innovation, leadership, and impact.
The fellowship recognizes women whose businesses are built to last and plan to generate more than $1 billion in economic impact over the next five years. Eagle intends to achieve this with her business plan, while also educating the local community on the significant environmental benefits of reusing and recycling.
The fellowship includes a $5,000 education grant and access to working capital with a zero percent interest rate through a matched loan program.
“It’s already opening doors to one-on-one business coaching, strategic bootcamps, and a powerful network of over 400 women entrepreneurs across the country,” said Eagle.
Eagle opened SHIFT, a low-waste retail shop and refill shop, with Kimberley Bezak in 2021. In the last four years, they have successfully diverted over 60,000 plastic containers from landfills, while helping individuals shop sustainably without losing beauty, quality, or convenience.
