Anno Artem will soon present Marginalia: Art of the Fringe, a boundary-defying group exhibition running Aug. 15-31, at its gallery in the historic Pottstown Train Station (1 Security Plaza, Suite 202).

An opening night reception will be held on Friday, August 15, from 6-9:00 PM.

Marginalia features work that resists traditional classification and challenges conventional exhibition formats. The show includes installations that flicker or evolve, performances without choreography, participatory pieces, ritual-based art, text layered with sound, and experimental fragments. It celebrates the raw, the unfinished, and the ephemeral — art that refuses to “behave on a pedestal.”

The exhibition invites audiences to experience diverse expressions that are often deeply personal and exploratory. By creating a space for the unconventional, Marginalia affirms that important artistic voices can thrive on the fringe.

Please note: Due to mature content and themes, this exhibition is not recommended for visitors under 18. Viewer discretion is advised.

Admission is free and open to the public.
