Beloved British clothing brand, Seasalt Cornwall is coming to Ardmore’s Suburban Square, writes Max Bennett for the Patch.
The brand, known for its nature-inspired prints and sustainable fabrics, will open on August 2.
To mark the occasion, the first 100 customers through the doors on August 2-3 will receive goodie bags filled with Seasalt treats. The store is led by manager Faith Tatem and staffed by a team of eight local employees. They will offer a curated selection of women’s and men’s apparel designed to transition from summer breezes to early autumn chills.
Expect breathable dresses, lightweight knits, and jersey staples like the brand’s signature Sailor Shirt.
Seasalt’s emphasis on inclusivity and longevity is woven into every pice, with fabrics like organic cotton, bamboo viscose, and merino wool.
The Ardmore location marks an integration of British style with local flavor. The interior will feature artwork from both Cornwall and Philadelphia, including hand-painted signage from local artist Greg Lyte.
