Carina Sorella in Bryn Mawr specializes in gigantic, delicious cutlets that are the talk of the area – cutlets and must be seen, tried and enjoyed to be believed, reports Mike Jerrick for FOX 29 Philadelphia.
Carina Sorella is a neighborhood Italian restaurant whose name means “darling sister.” The idea for the gigantic cutlet came from the restaurant’s original location in Philadelphia.
“We had the chicken parm at the original Carina, and then when it came over here, it grew,” said Codie Robinson, Executive Chef at Carina Sorella.
Although the cutlet is often ordered by two people to share, there are plenty of patrons who have finished the entire dish by themselves.
The cutlet can be ordered as a standalone chicken parm meal or as part of a Caesar salad. The cutlet is placed on the plate, and the salad is served right on top of it. Those who are not fans of Caesar salad can also choose a chopped salad as the topping instead.
