Go Down the Rabbit Hole in this Alice in Wonderland-Themed Tea House

This week, Bucks County local Jenni-Lyn Williams is opening Snarky Tea House, a new Alice in Wonderland-themed tea shop in Doylestown.

This week marks the opening of The Snarky Tea House, a new Alice in Wonderland-themed shop, at 24 North Main Street in Doylestown, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch

The tea house, which initially began as an online business, was founded by Jenni-Lyn Williams, a local from Northampton

Williams decorated the interior with classic characters and designs from Lewis Carroll’s acclaimed works.

“To me, the place is an art installation,” Williams said. “The food is art. The walls are art. It’s a transformative experience—a special place right here in the heart of Doylestown.”

The Snarky Tea House features an array of locally produced teas. Further inside is a whimsical cafe with tea sandwiches, scones and jam, macarons, Ukrainian hand pies, and more.

The menu features four varieties of black teas, one green tea, three herbal teas, and three fruit teas. Among these are fun flavors like Caramel Chai, Blueberry Apple Pie, and Blue Pineapple Mango.

Customers can book reservations for cafe online. The retail store will be open from 11 AM to 4 PM, Wednesday through Friday, and 11 AM to 7 PM on weekends. Tea times take place from 11 AM to 4 PM, Thursday through Sunday.
