Elmwood Park Zoo Welcomes Guests to a Nocturnal Adventure

Spend the night at Elmwood Park Zoo with Zoo Snooze—campfires, animal shows, breakfast, and more fun for families this summer.

Ever wondered what the animals are up to after dark? Elmwood Park Zoo invites families to find out with its popular Zoo Snooze overnight campouts.

The event is a unique, family-friendly adventure held throughout the summer. Open to kids ages 4 and up, the experience includes dinner, a continental breakfast, animal ambassador shows, and even the chance to feed a giraffe the next morning.

Guests pitch tents on the Norristown zoo grounds and enjoy an evening of campfires, activities, and nighttime zoo vibes before waking up to a full day of fun. Admission to the zoo is included the next day.

The 2025 lineup kicks off June 6 and continues select weekends through October 10. Tickets are $70 for members, $80 for non-members, and $12 for children under 2. Guests are welcome to bring outside food and drink into the zoo, but alcohol is prohibited.
