The 2025 Truist Championship is turning its stop in Flourtown into a full-on local celebration.
Set for May 5–11 at the historic Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Wissahickon Course, the PGA Signature Event is embracing all things Philly—from food to fashion to community.
In the fan zones—fittingly named Independence Square and Liberty Bell Landing—attendees can dig into hometown favorites like Federal Donuts and Chicken, Pottstown’s Gazzo’s Steaks, and Hangry Bear Creamery. The Fan Shop will offer exclusive Philly-inspired gear, including a custom collection from Jason Kelce’s Underdog Apparel, with all profits benefiting the (Be)Philly Foundation.
Adding to the local love, Truist plans to generate $2.5 million in charitable impact through partnerships with area nonprofits, including a five-year deal with First Tee of Greater Philadelphia. Events like Operation Shower for military moms and the Hometown Heroes spotlight will further connect the tournament to the region.
Executive Director Joie Chitwood said the goal is to make this event feel authentically Philadelphia.
With world-class golf, signature cocktails, family fun, and a strong community focus, the Truist Championship is shaping up to be much more than just a golf tournament.
