This Saturday, Bryn Mawr brings the runway back to the Main Line Fashion Week, and for a good cause, writes Max Bennett for the Patch.

The one-hour fashion show doubles as a fundraiser to support neurodiverse students at Hill Top Preparatory School. Hill Top will host the event from 8 to 9 PM.

Spearheaded by Hill Top alum Kyle Woodland, the event blends fashion with advocacy. Diagnosed with autism at age four and once non-verbal, Woodland credits Hill Top with helping him thrive. “Before I went there, I was very depressed, and I wasn’t fitting in.,” he said. “I said, ‘You know what, instead of trying to fit in, I should stand out.’”

Now 28, Woodland runs KWS Productions, the company behind the show. He uses fashion as a platform to raise awareness for neurodivergent individuals. The evening will feature prom and evening wear modeled by Hill Top students, with looks by local designers like Caroline Leary, Ovich Boutique, and Officially Dahsar.

Tickets start at $48.75, with proceeds supporting Hill Top’s mission to serve students who learn differently.

“As the leader on the Main Line in the education of neurodiverse learners, Hill Top loves opportunities to showcase how our alumni and students shine,” said Head of School Kevin M.R. Mayne.
