Fort Washington-Based Toll Brothers Looking to Expand Development Efforts in King of Prussia

After completing over 600 homes in King of Prussia, Fort Washington-based Toll Brothers seeks more development opportunities in the area.

After completing over 600 homes in King of Prussia, Fort Washington-based Toll Brothers is now seeking additional development opportunities in this fast-growing area, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

“We would love to do more in Upper Merion Township, in King of Prussia, and help continue to fuel the growth,” said Toll Brothers Vice President of Land Acquisition in Pennsylvania and Delaware Jon Crabtree.

The homebuilder first started selling its first properties in King of Prussia – 136 stacked townhomes named the Brownstones – in 2016. The subsequent project, a 60-unit condominium building named 575 South, was completed in 2020. Toll Brothers later completed 142 stacked townhomes named Overlook at Town Center, which recently sold out.

The company’s most recent project includes 278 townhomes and single-family detached homes. Called Stonebrook at Upper Merion, the development still has around 100 homes for sale.

Based on the success the company has had with the sale of its homes in the area, it is already eyeing new additional development opportunities.

“This is a place that’s going to continue to have value and be desirable for the long term,” said Crabtree.
