Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) is seeking applications for a Nursing Simulation Lab Manager.
Nursing Simulation Lab Manager
This position assists the Director of Nursing in the leadership and management of the Nursing Simulation Skills Suite (NSSS). The Nursing Simulation Lab Manager has primary responsibilities in the areas of the nursing admissions processes, clinical agency clearances, and Nursing Simulation and Skills Suite.
*This position requires the PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprinting clearances to be submitted to human resources prior to the first day of employment.
**This position has been approved for a flexible work option arrangement. Flexible work options can be ended at any time by the College, Cabinet, and/or supervisors based on the employee performance and/or as institutional needs change.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required, master’s preferred.
- A minimum of two years of related experience in a healthcare office or hospital administration. This experience should include inventory management, equipment maintenance scheduling, and project management.
- Current registration as a Professional Nurse in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- Experience in nursing practice is required.
- Experience with nursing-specialized accreditation and development of accreditation documents preferred.
- Knowledge of contemporary educational practices and standards including, but not limited to, the use of alternative delivery systems, instructional techniques, and distance learning modalities.
- Commitment to the incorporation of information literacy, technology, writing, and diversity in the curriculum.
