First Public Transit Route to Longwood Gardens Opens

OurBus service has arrived just in time for spring to carry travelers from New York and Philadelphia to Longwood Gardens.

OurBus, America’s most highly-rated bus service, has arrived for a new and convenient way to reach the stunning Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square.

Beginning March 29, travelers from New York City and Philadelphia can enjoy a comfortable coach ride to one of our nation’s most spectacular botanical gardens.

Buses will depart in the morning from both cities, arriving at Longwood Gardens at approximately 12:30 PM. Visitors will have ample time to explore the gardens before the return trip departs at 5:45 PM.

The service will initially operate on Saturdays and Sundays, with plans to expand as demand grows.

Despite its beauty and history, Longwood Gardens has been difficult to access via public transportation. OurBus aims to change this with trips from two major transportation hubs – Philadelphia and New York – thereby helping new visitors experience the beauty and serenity of the gardens.

Please note that OurBus tickets do not include admission to the gardens, which must be purchased separately and can sell out on busy days. OurBus recommends that riders book their garden tickets as early as possible to secure entry.
