Boo’s Brewing Co. and Firehouse Grill, a new brewery and barbecue spot, is set to open next week in Point Pleasant inside the former firehouse on River Road, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.
Brewmaster Karen Giordano teamed up with local builder and designer Glen Stephan to bring their brewery and restaurant concept to the community.
“I started homebrewing, people liked it and then I met up with Glen, he’s a builder,” said Giordano. “And fate sort of led to the firehouse.”
Together, they have transformed the property into a welcoming, relaxing space while embracing the building’s firefighting history through memorabilia and firehouse-inspired elements.
The first floor offers four spaces seating around 40 patrons, with a large event space upstairs.
Chef Michael Butera, former owner of Gobblers, will be in charge of the menu. The food will be complemented by a rotating selection of lagers, IPAs, porters, stouts, and ales, along with seasonal beers, all made from recipes Giordano perfected over the years.
Boo’s Brewing Co. and Firehouse Grill is expected to open by March 15.
