Get ready, Ardmore! Spring Fest is back for its second year, writes Max Bennett for the Patch.
The event promises live music, great food, and local fun to Schauffele Plaza on May 3 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
With a bigger event space than last year, organizer Brian Cronin is looking to bring in more sponsors to take the festival to the next level. “I’ve already got enough people to do a good festival,” he said. “But I want more to make it a great festival. The more, the better!”
Music lovers are in for a treat with returning acts like 90s and modern rock cover band Atomic Rock Band and DJ Korvez. New to the lineup is Pep Rally, a duo featuring Emily Roane and MilkBoy founder Tommy Joyner, known for their mix of covers and originals with a playful twist. Cronin is still adding bands, promising more crowd-pleasing acts.
Tired Hands Brewing Company and McCloskeys Tavern will provide drinks for the 21+ crowd, while kids can enjoy fun activities of their own. Food vendors include local favorite Mac Mart Ardmore, with more to be announced.
The festival is free to attend, with a VIP area available for purchase.
