Telford Happenings’ “So You Think You Can Cook” Returns: Amateur Chefs Wanted!

Telford Happenings is calling all local amateur chefs to participate in their annual "So You Think You Can Cook" competition.

Telford Happenings is hosting their annual “So You Think You Can Cook” competition, writes The Reporter.

The competition will take place on April 2 from 6 to 8:30 PM at the Perseverance Volunteer Fire Company in Souderton. Local amateur chefs are invited to register and show off their culinary skills.

Up to 25 amateur chefs (who cannot work in the food industry) will compete on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no fee to participate, and chefs must provide sample-sized portions while wearing gloves. Setup begins at 5 p.m., with an award for Best Table Decorations.

Attendees will sample dishes, enjoy a DJ, and vote for their favorites using three included voting slips (additional slips available for purchase). A cash bar is also available, with one drink voucher included in admission.

Tickets: $20 online, $25 at the door. Kids 6-10: $10, under 5: free. Chef registration deadline: February 28.
