Lansdale’s Ryan Quigley Joins the Eagles at the Super Bowl Parade

Eagles embrace Ryan Quigley, a New Orleans attack survivor, making him part of their unforgettable Super Bowl parade.

Lansdale’s Ryan Quigley never expected to be part of the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade, but the team made sure he was, writes Alex Coffey for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

While watching from behind a barricade near the Art Museum, offensive linemen Jordan Mailata, Cam Jurgens, and Landon Dickerson spotted him and immediately brought him onto their bus.

Quigley, a survivor of the January 1 New Orleans terror attack that killed his best friend, Tiger Bech, has formed a deep connection with the Eagles. The team first invited him and the Bech family to their divisional round game, where he bonded with players like Saquon Barkley. That relationship continued at the Super Bowl, where the Eagles honored Bech before kickoff.

Back in New Orleans for the game, Quigley found strength in the moment. “I felt like I was taking my power back,” he said.

The unplanned parade moment made the experience even more special. Barkley insisted Quigley join him on stage. Leaning on Barkley and Kenneth Gainwell, Quigley took the mic and delivered an impassioned message to the crowd.

Reflecting on the Eagles’ support, Quigley said, “I don’t even think they know the impact they’ve had on me and the Bech family. We’re Eagles fans for life.”
