DropUpp: Bryn Mawr’s One-Click Solution to the Hassle of Returns

Bryn Mawr’s Naial Casanovas Mack created DropUpp as an answer to the inconvenience of returning items purchased online.

Bryn Mawr’s Naial Casanovas Mack created DropUpp in 2022 with a simple goal: make online returns as easy as online shopping, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.

The Barcelona native saw a frustrating gap in the process – ordering an item took seconds, but returning it required a time-consuming trip.

“Most people don’t realize they’re spending on average 30-50 minutes per return trip,” Mack explained. “DropUpp eliminates that hassle completely.”

The service picks up returns directly from customers’ homes and ensures they reach their destination, all for less than $10 per pickup or through a subscription plan of $10-$25 per month.

Mack’s background wasn’t in logistics or tech. He previously ran a drone video production business. Then he taught himself to build a web app to bring DropUpp to life. Though some were skeptical at first, the business has grown steadily through work of mouth, proving its value to busy shoppers.

Now, Mack is preparing for DropUpp’s busiest season yet. With retailers extending return windows through February, he’s scaling up operations to handle the surge. As e-commerce continues to grow, DropUpp is making returns effortless – one doorstep pickup at a time.
